A DAY THAT STUCKS ALWAYS IN MEMORY - CRESTA DE GALLO
Cresta de Gallo as a part of Sibuyan Island / Philippines reminiscent with its white powder Beach of an island in the South Pacific, like a part of the Maldives.

This nearly uninhabited island is a further highlight within your individual travel & adventure holiday and is an ideal destination for a day trip.

Cresta de Gallo, in short "Isla" offers everything that makes the water sportsman heart beat faster:

CRESTA DE GALLO - BACKGROUND
For your information

Cresta de Gallo, a tiny island with white powdered coral sand, surrounded by crystal clear turquise water. Only one (1) fisher family is living there...no Hotels, or Resorts and also no Restaurants, or some Sari Sari Stores are available to buy some drinks. No electricity no source of freshwater.

Because of this you have to bring your own food and drinks to the "Isla" the, local name of Cresta de Gallo. Garbage bags are also needful to keep the island clean.
Give some Pesos to the fisherman and he will go arround with you per "Bangka", a small local fisherboat, to catch some fishes for a nice BBQ on the beach.

How to escape to Cresta de Gallo ?

It takes a 1-2h ride from Sibuyan Island to Cresta de Gallo. Depends the wave conditions and from which point on Sibuyan you start.

Guests who are booked at the Olango Bay, and like to stay on Cresta de Gallo for a whole day, start directly from the Bay near the accommodations. In the afternoon the boat captain brings you back again to the Olango Bay.

With a little bit of luck, this ride is accompanied by flying fishes and dolphins. A unique spectacle...

Cresta de Gallo's small regulation:
"Take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints."

Greetings from Robinson Crusoe ;)

But caution: Remember to sufficient sun protection!
